OffscreenCamera is designed to be local-only and privacy-forward.

Data collection

• OffscreenCamera does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.
• OffscreenCamera does not use analytics SDKs, ad SDKs, trackers, or account systems.
• OffscreenCamera does not require a network connection for core functionality.

What is stored

• Captured photos and videos are stored locally on your device.
• When Photos permission is granted, captures are saved to Photos (Camera Roll by default, or a selected album).

Permissions

• Camera: used only when you perform capture gestures to take photos or videos.
• Microphone: used only to record audio with video, if permission is granted.
• Photos: used only to save captures and optionally select/create albums.

Indicators and background behavior

• OffscreenCamera does not attempt to hide iOS camera or microphone indicators.
• The app is designed for user-initiated capture and is not intended for background recording.
